I agree that many people take joy in seeing prominent blacks fall from grace, but the selection of animal killer/torturer MICHAEL VICK as the victim of this kind of racism is an unfortunate choice. After reading the details of his case I would want Vick to rot in jail if he was white and/or middle-class or whatever. <BR/><BR/>As a side note, athletes are not "heroes." They become such if they use their celebrity and financial power to serve some altruistic purpose in a significant way; think Lance Armstrong, not the off-season NFL players at celeb golf tournaments. <BR/><BR/>Again, I really enjoy your work; I just think you got it wrong here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
